香り立つ蝶の羽ばたく

美しいこの世界を

ジュエリーにいたしました。

朽ちて無くなるもの、

抜け殻、

ふわふわと舞う優しい風、

太陽の木漏れ日、

少年の頃に見つけた小さな宝物を封じ込めたような、

太陽からの手紙たち。

小さな手のひらによって紡がれる

日本の伝統的なものづくりのひとひらを

ちょっと特別な日常への贈り物にと、思いを込めて。

I have imagined a hidden paradise,

with nature, people living

and the precious cultures of all ages.

The beautiful world of ancient and modern is in my heart

and there I can see a lot of beautiful butterflies

and feel the sweet smell filling the hidden paradise.

 

One day, the paradise changed its form into shiny jewellery.

 

Things growing old and decaying,

Hollow shells and mere shadows,

Butterfly’s wings are dancing in the air,

Sunlight filtering down through the trees...

All of them are letters from the Sun.

And they are like small treasures

We once found

When we were children.

 

All the traditional art, materials and cultures

Have been made by the small hands of people.

Those efforts make a long thread of art.

I spin the thread as I make jewellery

And I hope it will be a small part of it.

I wish my works will become the special gift for you in ordinary life.
